Luca's POV
My chest rises and falls as I take deep breaths to fill my burning lungs. I turn my head and streaks of sweat run down my face and into my eyes as I look over at Reed. He is also breathing heavily with his eyes closed and a grin on his face. I smile to myself seeing him as we were when we were younger.
"You're lucky I went easy on you, you hit like a girl now" he says while opening his eyes and and turning to look at me. His eyes widen when he sees my elbow coming towards his face and he shuts his eyes for the contact. I stop my elbow just a breath away from his face and he opens one eye to see my challenging glare.
"Okay okay, you still got it" he says while pushing himself into a sitting position. He turns and offers me a hand and I accept it gratefully. We both look over
