Unknown's POV
My breath hisses out as I apply the thick salve on the open wounds on my arm and back. My wolf healing was taking longer than usual and my mind drifts to the time the witch told me that dark magic slowly dampers the bond with your wolf. I shake my head to clear my thoughts when a noise has me raising my head.
Black smoke appears and dissipates quickly as the witch appears infront me, watching intensely. Seeing that she was alone ignited my rage as I stand abruptly. The sudden movement causes a wound at my ribcage to pull further open and I grunt loudly as pain shoots up my side.
"Where...is...the...girl?!" I say between breaths. When I get no reply, I turn my head slowly to see that the witch has taken a seat at the far end of the room, her hands folded on her lap.
