Eliza's POV
Everything happened so fast. One minute we were just waiting in line for the food, the next the doors of the cafeteria were swinging open and a young girl is running at us with a sharp object in her hand.
"Die Eliza Cade!" she screams and my eyes widen in shock as I realize she's coming at me specifically. Before I had time to react, Alexis jumps infront of me like a shield just as the girl's hand slashes forward. I suddenly feel myself being pulled against a hard chest as a hand cradles my head down. The smell of sandalwood and cinnamon fills my nostrils and my body relaxes instantly.
