As Luca and I re-enter his father's office we notice that the group of adults are now crowded around the desk while my grandmother is seated at the chair. Looks of concern are on everyone's face while my grandmother looks defeated.
"You heard his demands mother, we can't be sure what state Ethan is in or how much longer he can hold on for" my mother's voice shook with fear as tears begin to trail down her face.
"This matter is not that simple Laura. Giving up those translations don't just put our people at risk, Eliza and Luca will be his next targets" my grandmother bemoans.
