Stefan's question echoed my own thoughts as all attention was now focused on the newly gold encased sapphire hanging from the chain around his brother's neck.
Luca shifts uncomfortably from one foot to the other while looking at each of us. He opens his mouth to say something when the sound of someone walking up the stairs has all of us turning our heads in that direction.
