Marilyn had to admit that she was a little scared when Ace asked her in such a tone. It had a hint of carelessness and an undertone of malice.
"No, I didn't see who it was that hurt Raven this way. We had seprate classes before lunch. When I came to meet Raven, I couldn't find her. I got worried so I skipped class and went to search for her. At last I decided to come and ask for your help but then I found her near the garden and brought her here."
