Raven took a deep breath and slumped in Ace's arms, letting him hold her. Her butt was hurting pretty bad but she was more tired. So much walking and too much thinking had exhausted her.
When she felt Ace hug her, all the fear from getting lost, the panic from seeing the blood, everything came over her and weighted over her shoulder. She closed her eyes and passed out on his shoulder.
Ace picked her up and took her back to the car. The boys followed behind closely and got in as well. Ace tossed his key to Maverick and let him drive. Kendric sat on the shotgun. Ace then laid Raven on the seats where Maverick and Kendric were sitting previously. Ace sat on one edge and place Raven's head on his lap. He checked her temperature and it was normal.
