Raven felt much better climbing down than she did climbing up. She was the last one to go down. Of course there were times when she almost slipped but thankfully she didn't fall.
Once they reached down, Ace pressed the bricks again and the ladder was sucked up. Raven leaned on the wall and slumped her shoulders. She preferred the wall door over these ladders.
When Raven was having a moment with herself, Ace slipped next to her and held her hand again. Once again her fingers were caught in between his. Raven blushed amidst this life-threatening situation.
"The academy is on top of an island and the whole place is surrounded by water." Maverick said, "Terence, you know what to do right?"
