Rose's POV
"Hi, Mom," I said while walking into her room.
"Hi baby, how was your date?"
" You would really be okay if I dated him?"
" Yes, He cares about you; I can see it."
"He barely knows me, Mom."

We talked for a minute longer, and then I headed to my room to change before meeting Derek by the pool.
