Ezra "Oh, hi, Mom," Amelia grins at an older woman. I look her up and down and see the family resemblance. Amelia's mother has the same hair and eyes. Even her smile is similar. "I didn't know you were dating," Amelia's mother states, and Amelia takes a deep breath. "I-I'm not," Amelia sputters. "This is my friend." My heart sinks slightly when Amelia calls me her 'friend,' but I remain quiet. I notice there are several other women with Amelia's mother. "Friend?" Another woman snorts. "Do you always suck face with your friends?" I can't help but laugh at that. Amelia's mother smiles at me, "At least he's hot," She mutters to the second woman. "Tell me about it."
