CAILEAN'S POV
"Good morning, my love!" Dylan greeted me sweetly after waking me up. My body feels heavy from last night's party. We couldn't even make love last night from exhaustion despite the overwhelming emotions we felt after his marriage proposal. Plus, the effect of the alcohol in my system was unusually strong. I used to drink a lot whenever I go to a party, and I don't get drunk quickly. It takes a load of beer or tons of shots of hard drinks before I can get drunk unless they put something in the cocktails last night.
My eyes were fluttering, trying my best to open it as wide as I could, and after a few attempts, I finally succeeded.
"Good morning, my love!" I replied while covering my mouth. I don't want my morning breath to hover on Dylan's face.
"Why are you covering your mouth?" Dylan asked with a smirk.
"Isn't it obvious? I just woke up and haven't brushed my teeth yet, and we drank last night." I pointed out.
"Are you seriously bothered with that right now? Don't worry; I will never change my mind about marrying you. No morning breaths can stop me from doing it so please, spare me with this nonsense." He said and pulled my hand away from my mouth and caught my lips with his. I surrendered and allowed him to kiss me intensely.
"You taste so sweet as always, my love. So don't you dare hide that mouth from me. Never, ever." He said with a penetrating gaze. The possessive side of him is dominating him right now, and if I don't have Alpha blood running in my veins, my knees are definitely shaking by now.
"Never," I said softly and gave him a gentle kiss.
"What time is it?" I asked, feeling more awake.
"It's 5:30 in the morning." He answered.
"Seriously?! Why do you have to wake me up so early? Don't you know that I need more rest after the long night we had?!" I whinged, and Dylan just laughed at me.
"Don't worry, Cai. I got you covered. Just take this drink, and you will recharge." He said, raising a glass in line with my sight, filled with an orange liquid.
"Is that orange juice?" I asked as I sat down on the bed. I looked at the glass, then to Dylan, then back to the glass.
"You can say that. It's an energy booster drink that Will created. And don't worry, it's a good one and totally safe. Been taking it for almost three years now." He explained, sensing my uncertainties. Can he blame me? I've been given unknown juices since I was young, telling me that it's an immune system booster, and it turned out that those drinks were given to me to hide my real identity. Since I discovered the secret behind granny's juice, I made a mental note that I will not accept any drinks unless I know what's in them.
"Ok, I trust you," I said and took the glass from his hand and drank it. It tastes good. It tastes like a four-season flavored juice.
"Not bad!" I said in surprise after drinking the final sip.
"I told you." He smiled and took the glass from my hand.
"Now get up and take a shower. I will wait for you in the kitchen." Dylan said in a straight voice, which is weird, and what's more bizarre is that he will not join me.
"Aren't you going to join me? And what's with your tone?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I already took a shower. This is your first day of training, and I want you to feel that I am here as your trainer, not your fiancé, so that you will take things seriously." He said and tucked the loose strands of my hair behind my ears.
"Do you ever think that I will not take my werewolf training seriously?" I asked while giving him a sad look. I don't know, but I got offended about what he said. Where is he coming from with that statement?
"I'm sorry, Cai, I didn't mean to offend you. But sometimes, personal feelings can make things harder or can make you snap out of your concentration." He explained, and I clearly understand his point.
"You're right. I should separate my personal feelings from this if I want to learn. And don't be easy on me. I want you to train me hard and become the best." I said with full determination.
"That's my girl," Dylan said and stared at me with great admiration.
"I'll see you in the kitchen." He said and kissed me on the forehead before leaving our room.

"Good morning Luna!" The crowd greeted me as soon as I appeared at the kitchen entrance. So everyone was already awake at this hour?
"Good morning, everyone!" I greeted with a cheerful smile and walked in Dylan's direction, sitting on one of the kitchen stools at the countertop with the rest of the gang and the new members, Tyler and Xander.
"Good morning, mom!" I said as I took my seat.
"Hope your energy can keep up with werewolves' appetite." I joked, and mom burst out laughing.
"Oh, dear! Of course, I can, but their appetite is no joke. I have to make the quantity triple to satisfy the stomach of the hungry wolves." She said playfully, which made me chuckle. Since Martha couldn't be the chef anymore, mom took the initiative to cook for the pack. But, since she's going home today, I don't know what will happen, and I believe this is part of my job description as a Luna to make sure that my pack members are well fed. I hope I can apply my marketing skills to this, mainly the things I've learned about event planning because feeding a pack is like catering for an event.
"Here's your breakfast, dear." Mom said as she placed a plate in front of me. I furrowed my brows, seeing the content of my plate.
"An energy bar and apple?" I asked, pouting.
"Don't ask me. Ask your man." She said, innocently then I turned to Dylan.
"You can only eat a proper meal after the training. You don't want to end up throwing up everywhere, right?" He emphasized.
"Good point! That's gonna be gross!" I gagged.
"What time are you leaving, mom? And how are you going home?" I asked, then took a bite of the energy bar.
"We will leave around 10:00 AM. Phelan will drop me before dropping Dmitri at the airport-- he is flying back to Italy today." She said while flipping the pancake.
"Oh, ok. Sorry if I couldn't do it myself." I said with a sad voice that made mom look at me.
"It's ok, dear. Your training is more important. You need to prepare yourself for this big change in your life." She said in a comforting tone.
"Love you, mom!" I beamed.
"Love you more!" She replied and went back to flipping pancakes.
*****
We all went to the training ground after the light breakfast, and everyone started with their training routines. Dylan told me to begin my training by stretching my muscles with Mia and Jean's guidance.
"I'm glad that I used to do stretching every morning as a daily exercise," I told the girls while doing triceps stretches.
"Good, cause you will need it, particularly in shifting. You need to stretch those muscles to the max." Mia highlighted as we continue our stretching.
"Oh, my gosh! My first shift was terribly painful! It still gives me chills whenever that memory is flashing back." I admitted.
"First shift is the most painful, but once you are used to it, you will be fine," Jean said with assurance.
"That's enough, ladies," Dylan said, interrupting our little girly chit-chat.
"You two can go back to your post now." He ordered Mia and Jean.
"What about me?" I asked, feeling lost.
"I will train you somewhere where no one else can see you but me." He said firmly, and I just nodded.
We left the training ground, and I noticed that he's taking me to the lake area.
"Are you going to teach me how to swim?" I asked as we stopped at a large tree in front of the lake. Then Dylan stood in front of me.
"No, my love. I will not teach you to swim unless you don't know how and you want me to?" He stated.
"I know how to swim." I choked as Dylan kept on leaning closer to me. Then he stopped when his face is a couple of inches away from mine and said,
"Take off your clothes."
