Lexi’s POV
“Ben I really can’t apologise enough.” I mutter again, taking another drink of my coffee.
“Stop Lexi. I told you it’s not your fault. I don’t know what is going on between you two but I’m sorry that I got in the middle. I didn’t mean to.” he shrugs, leaning back into his chair.
“You didn’t, there is definitely nothing going on. Well not anymore anyway.”
“Well it doesn’t seem like he knows that Lexi, I know what Alphas are like and when they set their sights on something they don’t give up easily.” he says, looking at me sympathetically.
I groan loudly and lay my head down on the table.
“I can’t take this anymore. Between Zack’s possessiveness and my dad’s orders...it’s like I’m being suffocated!” I mutter sadly, tears filling in my eyes yet again. “I feel so pathetic,
