Fuck if my friends could see me now, standing outside Lexi’s house, flowers in hand, I’m sure they would never let me live it down. But I’ll do pretty much anything to bring her closer to me. When her father woke up in the hospital, I left for a few days to give them some space. The last thing any of them needed was for her father and I to ignite our feud over Lexi and this whole mate situation. After our meeting yesterday he seems to be more tolerant of my presence but I can tell his warriors are edgy around me, as though they have been told to stay on their guard.
