Melanie's P.O.V.
I walk away from Tucker, tears brimming my eyes. He caught me at the wrong time. Not only did he play me wrong in the cafeteria and I had to listen to Sara gush to her friends about the two of them being back together, but I got a call from my mom that I had to take outside. She told me that my dad was back in town and wanted to take us out to dinner tonight. So, yeah, Tucker definitely picked the wrong time to come and pick a fight with me, because my emotions were already all over the place.
Tiffany runs up behind me after I just pretty much broke up with Tuck, "Babe, are going to be okay? First your dad and then...THAT."
"No, I need to go home. Walk me to my locker so I can grab my stuff really quick?", I ask her.
Tiffany nods and walks with me to my locker.
