LUCKY DAY
SAI's POV
Time check!! It is already 9:30! Oh my god, I'm already late! Super late! I run faster as I can to enter the campus. Good thing, the guard let me enter even if it's really prohibited for them to let late students. I owe him my first day!
Today is my first day of school in the year 2015, but here I am. I am late! This is really bad.
The reason why I am late today because the tire of the jeep I was riding earlier gets flat. What an unlucky day for me. I can feel the bad luck with me.
Now, I have to find my room section. I wanted to text or call Rhea but I forgot that my phone has no load. My cellphone has no real use to me, it only serves as my alarm clock. Geez!
All of a sudden, I found myself lying on the floor. Argh! I fell down because I step on the skin of the banana.
Gosh! Who the hell throw the damn skin of banana in the! hallway?
Didn't they know how to throw garbage properly on the trashcan?! Seriously!
I'm totally late.
My books and notebooks are on the floor.
I sigh out heavily, and I start to take my belongings scattered on the floor.
Suddenly, I'm surprised when someone helps me out to take my belongings.
Am I lucky then?
"Thank you for helping me," I say as I stood up. He handed me my books. I haven't seen his face yet because I am busy putting my books inside my bag. After I settled them inside of my bag.
I lifted my head to face him and I was stunned when I already now saw his face.
Oh my god.
He's... He is handsome. From the shape of his eyes to his high bride nose, and down to his kissable lips. It's perfect.
It feels like, I met the man of my life.
Damn, I'm lucky today.
"Miss? Are you okay?" He asked causing me to stop fantasizing his handsome face.
"H..Huh? Yes. Yes. I'm okay. Thanks. Thank you for helping me." I said. My voice is stuttering.
"Okay. You're welcome. be careful, okay? I'm going." He said and gave me a sweet smile then he leaves after.
I was about to ask him about his name but he is finally far from me.
Hmm. Who is he? Is he a transfer student? Looks it like. I haven't seen him here before, just only now.
Should I follow him to ask his name?
Ah, what a crazy plan is that, Sai? You're late. Stop flirting.
I walk going to the Admission office to know what is my room section.
When I got there, I see no teacher inside so I just look it by myself.
I look and find my name on the room section of Junior high school students, but my eyes can't help to look on the list of Tamaraw boys. Our very owned varsity players.
Since their pictures are attached before their names, I can't help myself but smile widely.
They're very handsome.
As usual, the number one on the list of Tamaraw boys is no other than, Terrence.
Terrence is our MVP. He is Rhea's brother.
Rhea is very lucky to have a young and handsome brother. I envy her! I wish I had one.
I keep looking at their pictures and names until my eyes landed on the last photo.
Wait...
My eyes widened as I saw the last photo.
Oh my god! He was the guy who helped me earlier.
Mikael Harrison. His name is Mikael Harrison.
This is very shocking! He is also a Tamaraw boy!? I didn't know that he belongs to the varsity players.
OMG! I want to scream right now!
I can feel the butterflies in my stomach.
MIKAEL. MIKAEL. MIKAEL. MIKAEL. MIKAEL.
I can't stop thinking about him and his name is echoing in my mind.
I want to see him again. I want to thank him again.
"Hey, what are you thinking, huh? it seems so deep."
I go back to my senses when Rhea pats my arms.
Anyways, after my long journey in finding my room section, I finally found it. Luckily, Rhea, Nichole, and I are still in the same class.
And yes, I'm late.
Just when I arrived earlier, our professor came out, so now it is our dismissal time.
Jeez. I'm too early for the second session of class.
"Nothing? I just remember something." I smilingly answer. I didn't notice that I am thinking too far.
This is your fault, Mikael. You keep running into my mind. You are, handsome boy.
"What's that something?" Nichole asked while she is busy reading.
"Nothing," I said.
"Is that so?" She closes the book she was reading and looks at me. "Why did you come late? Did you woke up late again, huh?" She asked, putting forward her brows.
"Nah. I woke up early today but something came up that's why," I answered but they just look at me with a suspicious expression. they didn't believe me, really.
"Hey, I'm telling the truth. Okay?" I chuckling said.
"Who said that you are not?" Rhea giggled.
"Shes being defensive," Nichole added while laughing.
"I'm not. You're crazy." I replied.
"Alright. Let's eat. I'm hungry." Rhea invited then she stood up.
"Right. I'm also hungry." I said. I get tired because of running.
But it's okay, anyways. I meet a handsome guy today somehow.
We got out of the room then we walk presiding to the cafeteria.
"By the way, you should come with us later, Sai," Rhea said to me.
"Yes! That's right." Nichole conceded.
"Where?" I asked, confused.
"Terrence will be cooking dinner for us so you should come, Sai," Rhea said in which made my mouth parted as well as my eyes in excitement.
"Really!??"
"Yes, really. Why are you so shocked?" Rhea giggling asked.
"Why I wouldn't be? Wow! I didn't know that Terrence knows how to cook. I feel excited." I beam. Nichole on the other hand cant stops pressing my arms because of excitement also.
She's much more excited than me, huh. Well, that is because she will gonna see Terrence.
"Of course. Cooking is one of my brother's talents." Rhea answered.
"He's really perfect! I really envy you, Rhea!" Nichole said, pouting.
"Me too! I wish I have one too!" I added.
"What are you guys saying? Since we're friends, Terrence can be your brother too. He would love that."
"But I want to be his lover!" Nichole protested and we both laughed.
" You're crazy. You know what, you're just hungry." Rhea said while laughing.
"I guess," Nichole replied, laughing.
I'm so blessed, I have best friends like them.
