Athena stared at the person who had just spoken and fired her without even trying to look at her face or anything. Everyone became silent as if waiting for what she was going to say, or how she was going to react. They were probably waiting for her to cry or scramble her words to beg him not to do that. She was not entirely sure, but she could feel eyes on both of them. What a way to be in this kind of situation, and it was not even her first day yet.
“What are you looking at? You are fired. Either you get out of here voluntarily or Marina will drag you out of here. Your choice. Just I don’t want to see your face ever again.”
