Coming back to the office after so many weeks away is unsettling since I know there will be a lot of work to get back to as well as the whole thing with Karen having Sophia abducted.

The news reporters, big top magazine companies, and the paparazzi have had a field day with what has been going on between my family and Markson"s company.

I've been keeping Sophia in the dark about what has been going on in the news about us so she wouldn't be stressed. I knew coming back to work she was going to find out, I was just trying to delay the craziness that Sophia would have to face

At my afternoon meeting one of my employees spoke about what was being said on the news and the look of shock on Sophia's face said so much.

"Has anything been done about the company's image since we have been away," I said as I looked around the entire room. It was nothing but silence and it would seem no one was willing to give me an answer.

"Is everyone deaf now, I asked the question or do I have to repeat myself," I said sternly. Still, no one spoke up to answer my question. I was beginning to get very annoyed and impatient.

"Since no one wants to speak up then I'm gonna have to start firing people," I warned them in my deep intimidating voice. The look of horror spread across everyone's faces.

I was getting hot with rage about why anyone wasn't answering me but then I felt a soft small hand run up my right thigh. I turned to face Sophia as she stared into my eyes warmly.

Sophia then leaned into my ear whispering slowly to calm my nerves. " Baby please don't lose your cool, we can figure something out. Remember everyone here has worked hard to help make this company successful," Sophia said sweetly.

I took a deep breath to focus on what needed to happen to get the company back on track. "Contact the PA to work on the company's image and until then we need to come up with something that will appeal to the public so we can earn more clients," I suggested.

"Well, the company can benefit from you and Ms. Sophia's relationship. Instead of the negative event being at the forefront, we push the positives," an employee had spoken out confidently.

The meeting continued to make progress as the meeting came to an end. My family's company will now have me and Sophia as the face of it. Yes, we have gone through a lot with Sophia's attack, a*******n and almost shooting but showing the positive out of the horrible events. With that being said, we will be having a press conference.

The positives that cast me as Sophia's hero or a knight in shining armor you could say. Another positive would be that our company always comes out on top regardless of the situation.

After work, I took Sophia out to dinner at a lovely Italian restaurant to relax after a crazy work day. We arrived at a great time when the place wasn't so crowded.

Once Sophia and I were seated she stared at me with concern written all over her face. "What the matter baby, I saw you blow up like that at work," Sophia said in a soft tone.

"I was hoping for us to come back home to a stress-free environment, especially in your condition. It's already bad enough you are going to testify in court against Karen," I spoke out honestly.

"Baby we can't control everything that happens in ourselves, we can only make the best of what we have. You mean so much to me Eric and our baby is a blessing. We can do this and overcome the negative backlash, " Sophia expressed.

Sophia had a point and she opened my eyes to the things I was forgetting. We did overcome something and this is just another rock in our path to more success in the future.

We ordered our food and enjoyed our meals as well as some dessert. Afterward, we went back home to a peaceful house, leaving the day's worries behind us.

I quickly removed my blazer and sat on the couch to relax a bit before taking a nice hot shower. Closing my eyes as I rested my head on the soft headrest of the couch.

I was so out of it that I didn't hear Sophia approach me and then she made herself comfortable between my legs. "You look stressed baby. Let me make it all better," Sophia said seductively. Next, I watched her every move as she undid my pants and slowly removed my now hard length from my. boxers.

Afterwards, I picked Sophia back up in my arms stealing another tender kiss as I walked us into the shower turning the water on to a comfortable temperature.

The week went by like a blur so did the following week as we prepared for a public announcement of Sophia being pregnant for tomorrow as a way to win back the trust of our current and future clients.

Our PA thought it would be a great idea to hold the press case in front of the office. The plan is to give the press enough information but not reveal too much that might make us look bad.

We went over every detail the entire day to make sure there will be no hiccups. The following day I woke up early because I couldn't get much sleep so I just went ahead to get ready for the press conference which was at 1 pm.

After going over my speech several times I decided to cook some breakfast before Sophia woke up. "That smells delicious, what are you cooking baby," Sophia asked me while massaging my shoulders.

"Good morning beautiful, I'm cooking us your favorite. Waffles, scrambled cheese eggs, and bacon. We enjoyed a nice breakfast together then we got ready for work.

We made it to the office early enough to have a short meeting with the PA the lunch. "Baby, are you ready to win back our image? Sophia asked with a warm smile on her face. "You damn right I am, let's do this," I said confidently.
