Sienna's P.O.V
A voice sounded through the air.
“Men, bow to your Alpha!” And as soon as the other men heard that, they bent down towards the man who smelled like honey to me.
What?
Is he the Alpha?
The one who I think is my mate?
I looked at him in horror. Didn’t he feel the mate bond like I did? Why didn’t he save me? Protect me? Isn’t that what mates are supposed to do? The asshole with the curls walked over to him, as they both looked at me. As if they were about to grade me or something?
“So Kai, what do you think?” The asshole asked him.
Kai?
His name is Kai?
My mate’s name is Kai.
It sounded like music to my ears, but my fear was having the best of me right now. His eyes never left me. It looked as if he was in deep thoughts.
What on earth am I supposed to do?
His mouth finally opened.
Please say ‘mine’,
Please let these monsters know I am your mate,
So they will leave me alone!
“What is your name?” I looked at him in wonder.

I opened my mouth, closing it again. I was caught by surprise at the first thing he spoke out loud to me.
This isn’t the way it is supposed to go!
“What is your name? What, are you dumb or something?” I looked up, looking him straight in his eyes. His words went through me like knives, that was a low blow, and he had hurt me without him even knowing me. You want to know who I am? I’ll show you, asshat! Tala growled inside of me. Clearly, I wasn’t the only one who was pissed that our mate did not acknowledge us. I stood up straight as I looked him dead in the eye.
“I am Sienna Denali of the Denali pack, daughter of Alpha Jensen Denali of the Denali pack.” My words gave me strength, I was my father’s daughter. And I was not going down without a fight. Not over these f*****g assholes!
Kai’s eyes grew a bit bigger.
Yes asshat,

And with him, all the men present were looking in horror. One guy walked over to the asshole with the curly hair and punched him.
“What the f**k Seb, you took the Alpha’s daughter? Are you out of your f*****g mind!”
Seb,
Another asshole name to remember when my father would kill them all, when he would come for me!
He looked puzzled as his hand cupped his cheek, where the fist of the other guy had just landed.

“f**k Seth, how the f**k could I know!” This Seth guy looked at Kai, who was still staring at me. At that point, I was too angry to care about that.
“What do we do? Do we bring her back?” Kai finally looked away from me, looking at this Seth guy. He looked a bit older than the rest, short brown hair and a short stubble beard, he looked like he had just walked away from being in the military. He scared me. Kai looked back at me.
What did I spot in his eyes?
Fear?
But this time, his gaze turned back around fast. He shook his head slowly.
“No, it’s already too late for that. Better have fun while we still can. Who wants her?”
My eyes opened in horror,
What?
No!
He is my mate.
He cannot let this happen to me!
Some men stepped back,while 5 kept standing in the middle. Including that guy, Seth, who freaked me out even more, as he looked at me with an emotion I had never seen before in my life.
He’s a f*****g psychopath.
Tala was still whimpering in my mind, begging me to let her take over.
Not yet Tala,
I don’t want to put you in danger.
Kai seemed impressed while Seb looked at Seth with wonder.
“Seth, you already have Judy. You can’t have two girls!” He turned around, looking at Seb.
“Well, guess I’ll have to kill Judy then, won’t I?” Seb shrugged as he stepped back, standing next to Kai, who folded his arms and kept looking at me again.
“ OK men, you know the rules, the last guy standing gets her. On your mark, get set, let’s go.” And right before my face, the five men shifted into their wolves. Flying at each other’s throats, ready to kill.

Kai's P.O.V
Once I had walked outside, I could smell something was off, not a bad thing, but I smelled something angelic, vanilla? Anyway, it was out of place here, it did not belong. As soon as I stepped forward, I saw her. My breath was being pulled out of my lungs in one second. The girl hanging on the stage was an angel, she was, without a doubt, the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. Long blonde hair, eyes the perfect blend of green and brown, a body to die for. The legs coming from underneath that white dress, I could only imagine running my hands all over them. Her eyes met mine and I saw it in her eyes.
She is my mate!
It took all of my power to not scream ‘mine’ at her, but, if the other men knew, it would make her an even bigger target than she already was, since she was so beautiful.
I needed to think about this. How the f**k was I supposed to work with this? I didn’t want a mate in the first place. f**k, all they did was get you killed! Women were just for pleasure, sick of them? Dump them and move on to the next. But seeing her face, how the hell was I ever going to get sick of her?
I am so f****d!
“Men, bow to your Alpha!” My Beta Seth screamed, making everyone fall down on their knees. They all feared me, which was exactly what was needed in this pack of rogues. The second, I would become fragile or give them a weak point to work with, they would take it and use it against me.
This girl is my weak point.

As soon as my pack members were on their knees, the angel’s eyes grew bigger, as she saw that I was the Alpha. It made my wolf Ace purr in excitement, as it made him proud, seeing that our mate was impressed by my title. A title I had fought very hard for, to get in the first place. I decided to stay calm, no one could know that she was my mate, not for now.
“What is your name?” I asked her, seeing hurt in her eyes, when I did not speak out that she was mine. Don’t look sad, baby girl!
My insides pulled together, seeing my mate in pain. But I had to hold on like she was a nobody and be strong.
“What is your name? What, are you dumb or something?” I could see my words were cutting through her heart. And I hated myself as soon as the words left my mouth, but these assholes couldn’t find out I cared for her. But then, something else changed in her gaze, she seemed to find a new power within herself as she stood up straight and looked me right in the eye. Giving me a hard one, as she just looked at me like that.
“I am Sienna Denali of the Denali pack, daughter of Alpha Jensen Denali of the Denali pack.”
