Cath Cath walked naked as he was born through the tall grass that covered the meadow, one of the remaining places in the lands not yet touched by the dark magic of the demons. It was supposed to be a calm summer afternoon, a moment for him to collect his thoughts and decide what to do with the new information Red had given him. And what to do with the one he had yet to provide. But once he was alone, all he could think about was the vulnerability in the male’s eyes while he spoke, of the unspoken tragedies that hung heavy in his desperate eyes.
