I woke up this morning feeling a little better about things. Adam came into the bedroom and handed me a cup of coffee. He gave me a kiss before heading off to the pack house. He had to catch up on everything that he had missed while we were at the Moon River pack. I decided that I would head down to the pack library and see if they had information on why a wolf may act the way that Star is right now or what may cause a weakened mate bond. Hopefully, I will find some answers. First though, breakfast. I washed and dressed and hurried down to the restaurant. There was no sign of Ellie, but Paige waved at me happily from a table at the window. I walked over and asked to join her, and she agreed with a cheery smile.
