Ruby and I headed to the spot where Mr Ross had been found this morning. It was spotless now. You would never have known that there had been a dead body lying here just a few hours ago. I sniffed at the air, trying to get a whiff of what Chris had smelt. However, all I could smell was the cleaning products. Anything else was gone. I looked over at Ruby, hopefully she could find something. I watched her as she stood with her eyes closed chanting and waving her arms around. A red glow emitted from her, spreading out, filling the space. I felt a tingle on my skin as it surrounded me, a warmth inside. The chanting stopped, and the light began to shrink back towards Ruby.
