I wasn't sure what to expect as I sat outside the meeting room, waiting to be called inside. I was used to being on the other side. I had called Ruby last night, but she seemed surprised to hear about the meeting. The door opened, and I was summoned inside. I instantly noticed that Ruby and William were both absent.
