Cleo ran off after hearing what Kaylee had to say. Through the bond I knew Cleo didn’t want to become a mum, not yet anyway. She had only just turned seventeen, found out her parents weren’t who she had grown up to believe, and been kidnapped by demons. She had been through so much in such a little time. Balthazar howled in my head wanting me to run and comfort our mate, to tell her everything would be fine, but I knew right now she just wanted to be alone.
