Cleo’s POV Never in my life had I allowed anyone to see me fall apart. Since my parents died, I had always kept my emotions in check. Sure, I’d struggled from time to time, I mean who wouldn’t? But I had Daphne, and she was all I needed. Roman wasn’t at all how I’d expected him to be. Let’s face it, with a reputation and a family like his, sympathetic isn’t a word you’d think to associate him with. Last night however proved just why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.
