Cass gave a quick roll of his eyes and a half-grin. “Good to run with you as well, brother." Fyn couldn't answer him back in his wolf form. But that didn't stop him from looking away, feeling embarrassed by how reluctant he sounded to his twin. He was excited to run with Cass again, to feel a part of a pack again. But he was just terrified that he would be putting his brother in danger. As they ran, Fyn was on high alert. His head swung back and forth, and his nose stayed in the air, trying to scent a problem before they ran into it unawares. Occasionally, Fyn would see Cass stop to sniff the air, then look around with the same sense of alertness. Fyn knew Cass was reacting to his stiff stature.
