Rowan knew Glenna was right. She needed to learn the art of speaking up. However, she had learned so long ago that she needed to watch her manners and always speak politely to her elders. Yet, once Rowan got back to work, the gentlemen called her over and apologized for their actions. They spent the rest of the day ignoring her except to say a polite thank you when she refilled their coffees. Rowan spent the rest of the day watching Glenna as she dealt with the customers.
