For the first time since he moved to Anaconda, Fyn ate his lunch as fast as possible to get out of the restaurant. Glenna continued to flirt with him and try to grab his hand at whatever opportunity she could. She was insanely forward and did not mince any of her words, leaving Fyn to feel acutely uncomfortable. He barely touched his chocolate cake in an effort to get out of the place as soon as possible. Halfway through his meal, he had realized that visiting with Tommy had just been a ploy for them to have lunch together, and the kid was not actually coming. With that realization came a sense of panic, and he did his best to get out of there quickly.
