I spent millions of dollars to impress Moira, to try and get a chance with her, and the moment she saw me, she rejected me. I can’t help but wonder if we have two very different versions of that night. What if she isn’t who I thought she was at all? The girl I had met in Vegas was shy, yet determined. She was honest and confident in herself. What happened in the last month? Or was I just blind by what I had wanted and hoped for? It probably doesn’t help that I am just sitting here, in an office that will never feel like my office in France.
