Later that night Judas met up with an angel called Antenias in the Lamb & Flag public house in Covent Garden. Antenias was one of his informants. He worked in the props department of a famous West End theatre, and wandered the streets of Soho by night. He was well placed to pick up all sorts of information. Antenias was one of the first angels to leave the city in the heavens voluntarily and make his home in London. He’d been here for hundreds of years, and he made no secret of his love and respect for the ‘wingless ones’. He was also one of the good guys. Unfortunately, some of the angels had learned not to be so virtuous. He arrived on time, as usual. He was always punctual, which was one of the things that Judas liked about him.
