CHAPTER 3: A WOMAN’S TOUCHI FOUND A GOOD PARKING spot near the entrance of the hotel where Giselle had booked the rooms for our girl’s weekend. We always stayed here because it was right on the oceanfront and we could walk out the front door onto the beach. And it was nice and had a lot of amenities. Giselle liked her ritz and comfort and wouldn’t be caught dead at some fleabag motel. I picked up my key at the desk and headed towards the elevator. Even after my spat with Trent, I still found myself looking forward to this weekend. We didn’t have many more weekends left before the beaches closed for the season. I intended to relax this weekend and lay on the sand and let the sun bake me to a nice golden brown. Finally, I found the room that we’d rented and slid the key card into the lock.
