Chapter 10

798 Words
Omar's POV "She's here. She's coming. She's moving to you. She's at your back." Ryder broadcast Zopia's motion to me though I already knew. Noisy, I seethed, "silent." "Ah ha, so you're not going to pretend to be weak and cough now. I should realize earlier that you are psychopath enough and will desire to kill our mate when you forced your pack member to drink..." Ryder was totally turning up and losing his mind as he inhaled Zopia's scent. I held up a mind wall in my head, blocking his words in one shot. Simultaneously, I craned my head to see her holding a knife to my back. "Good to meet you, Zopia." I said. She put down the knife, "bad to see you, Omar." Sparks exploded between us as the mate bond was working. Ryder must be screaming silently inside my head. Though familiar with this feeling, I could swallow the desire and butterflies down to my stomach. My fingertips moved. I could kill Zopia in one second with my gift. "Thank you," she said, pausing my movement. I crossed my arms, uttering the word, "why?" She looked at me with gorgeous green eyes, "thank you for saving me last time." Suddenly, so polite? I smirked inside. Then why did you hang your small bags on my trees, Zopia? Did you know I had surveillance on your every movement when you entered my realm? "You are welcome." My arms stretched down, holding against the stone bars on the balcony, bracing my body up. "But Alpha Omar, could you please mercifully give me the antidote?" She removed her cloak, golden light shining, causing a perfect aura around her body. Snow danced under the moonlight, falling on her silky black hair and standing out like a goddess radiating under the moon. Somehow, Ryder broke my mind wall, letting out a sigh, "Jesus, she was so perfect if we don't consider her scarred face..." I blocked Ryder out before confessing, "I don't have the antidote." Zopia took a deep breath, "You're lying. Right? Please don't force me to threaten you. Your pack members will suffer if you don't give me the antidote." How dare she warn me? The air was rigid, and my mood was on edge, "You mean you will blow up your little bags on the trees?" She furrowed, "how do you-" I cut her off, "don't play tricks with me, Zopia. I'm the Alpha of the most powerful pack in the werewolf land." I took a large step toward her, only centimeters apart between us. Her jaw tightened, "Omar, there is wolfsbane in the bags on your trees. If I pushed this button-" I chimed in again, "I forced them to drink wolfsbane every day." Her eyes widened, "you...what?" I smiled, "I may be weak, but some of my pack members are strong. I say, drinking wolfsbane to strengthen their bodies is my command." Zopia gasped for air. "Oh my bloody hell, I can't watch you guys battle." Ryder sighed inside. A giant grin broke inside. Seeing Zopia's astonished face was so intriguing; keeping her alive as my toy might be a better choice. My hand behind moved along the stone bar and reached a hole in it; I pressed it. An iron cage came from the air at lightening speed, lunging at Zopia. Not giving her any second to contemplate, the cage bars shortened and elongated to suit every part of her body to lock her tightly inside. She gritted her teeth, eyes filled with anger, "let me go!" The button she used to threaten me was still in her hand. I said, "Press it then." She was burning, her finger lifting up but hesitating for seconds before I scratched it. "See, this is the difference between you and me. I read the information about you. Zopia, you won't kill innocence to achieve your aim, but I can sacrifice anyone for mine." I said as I pressed the button. Bang! Bang! Bang! - The garden blew up as bomb bags splashed wolfsbane liquid one by one. My pack members screamed and cried, along with their blood splashing in the pool. She gazed at me, unbelievable at what I had done. I explained my motive, "if someone died, they are too weak to be in my Silver Pack." She snorted, "weak? What a joke! Aren't you the weakest Alpha, without gifts, not knowing how to fight? Oh! But you can hide behind your strong pack members and these cages when coping with enemies. Right?" She really knew how to piss me off. My mate bond was craving for her, which drove me even more furious. Ending her life is the best choice to get rid of the mate bond. I stretched out to choke her neck.
