The moment he saw Rhys bending over as he continued to clutch his neck, Ren broke free from his brief paralysis and immediately took a step towards him. He’d forgotten his own injuries as he did so and couldn’t help but gasp and hiss when pain shot out throughout his body after his abrupt move.
