Alpha Annie’s POV
“Did you search this area by the valley?” I ask, pointing at the map which is spread out over a large smooth rock.
“Yes Alpha. We swept the area twice. We found nothing.” answers Brad, one of my top trackers and the warrior in charge of this unit.
“s**t. How is it possible for them to just disappear? Drop off the face of the earth like this. Something is not right.” I state, running my fingers over the map again, waiting for inspiration to find me.
“I don’t know Alpha. I’ve never known this many wolves to vanish without a trace. I agree that something seems off.”
“Okay… next we will move east. Taking in this part of the forest here. I’m sure there are caves around this location. Each one will have to be checked thoroughly. Get your warriors ready to move out.” I
