Chapter 2: Round Two Day two. Round two. Nate hadn’t slept well the night before. Too much adrenaline, too much giddy disbelief. And too much need to plan for today; he hadn’t been able to relax. He and Rosemary had stayed up late in the hotel suite, coming up with decoration ideas and possible approaches. They’d known the day’s challenge was the first construction test, a small-scale gingerbread structure—not necessarily a house—that’d be up and decorated in three hours. They’d gone to bed as prepared as they could be without knowing the theme. The hotel was a nice one.
