As soon as they arrived at the entrance, they were warmly greeted and ushered inside.

"Are you Ms. Thompson?" she inquired.
Diana smiled faintly, "Yes, I'm Thompson, Diana Thompson."
The woman remained silent, standing her ground as she discreetly assessed Diana. She looked like just a little girl, nothing particularly special. However, the manager had asked the store to reserve the latest shoes for her, so she must have some connection with the manager.
