Diana, upon seeing him leave, was momentarily puzzled.
"What's going on? Has the meeting not concluded yet?"
"Just didn't want you to wait too long."
"I'm fine," Diana replied, her eyes widening slightly. "I just noticed you didn't look too good earlier, so I thought I'd try to cheer you up. Did I disturb you guys?"
John's gaze softened. "No," he said as he walked over, gently putting his arm around her waist. "It was them who disturbed us."
