Magnus’s POV
Life had been going smoothly for the last few days, but the sudden change in Natalia shook me. It’s not like I haven’t seen her in revealing clothes. When I was dating her to get married, I saw her like that, but what made me shocked was that she had never worn those types of clothes since I started torturing her. However, why now?
I was engrossed in my thoughts when I suddenly heard some voices from outside and saw my friend Andrew with my secretary right in front of me. This is what makes Andrew and me different. I don’t have relations with my employees and he doesn’t leave anyone.
It’s not like he is bad, but he is a playboy, but we have a rule that we keep our lives different. I ignored him and started working on my laptop when suddenly the door burst open, and I ordered, “Please close the door, Mr. Romeo.”
“Yes, Mr. Wales”, he bowed and closed the door before coming and sitting in front of me.
I waited for him to speak, but strangely he didn’t say a single word. That was weird, so I peeked at him and found him smiling like an i***t looking at me.
“What exactly do you want?”, I asked, keeping my focus on my work, and he immediately replied, “A promise.”
Exactly, that’s what I was thinking. I knew he would ask me something like that, and I also knew what promise he wanted from me, so I denied it without thinking, “Well, I am not going to allow any of my female employees to leave early today.”
“What?”, He said shockingly and continued, “No way. I want you to promise me that you will attend my Christmas Party tonight.”
I heard and replied instantly, “I will be there.”
“With Natalia.”, he added, and I smiled and agreed, “Okay, we will be there.”
After that, I waited for him to leave, but he was still sitting, so I sat straight, rested my hands on my desk, and looked at him keenly. I finally heard him, “Why did you agree that easily?”
“Because I want something in return”, I told him, and he was shocked to hear from me.
“What?”, he asked, and I replied, “Answer. What are you guys up to?”
He was silent and his face was telling me that he was not getting what I was saying, so I added, “What are you planning with Natalia?”
The very next moment, all the color of his face was drained, and he just confirmed that I was correct. It was a random question, but without a word, I got my answer.
“Nothing. We are planning nothing.”, I said like someone had put his ass on fire, and I asked, turning serious, “Why are you stuttering?”
“Magnus”, He said a bit loudly, and I responded, “Andrew, I know you two are planning something behind my back and I will figure it out sooner or later.”
After that, he didn’t say anything but just stood and said, “Okay, I am going now. Take Care.”
He turned to leave, but before he opened the door to leave, I said, “Andrew?”
He turned around, and I continued, “If I come to know that you two are doing something behind my back, no one will be able to save you.”
He blinked multiple times and turned to my work, telling him, “Close the door before leaving.”

Third Person’s POV
As soon as Andre left Magnus's cabin he took the private elevator to the parking lot. He took his phone out of his pocket and dialed Natalia’s number. He waited patiently for Natalia to receive her, and soon he heard, “Hello” and he replied, “Hey Natalia, Andrew here.”
“Yes, Andrew. Tell me.”, Said Natalia.
Andre went to his car, stopped right beside his car, and instructed Natalia, “Listen, Magnus has become suspicious of us. Be careful.”
Listening to Andrew, Natalia also gets tensed and asks, panicking, “But, what should I do?”
He took a long breath and tried to make Natalia cool down, saying, “Just don’t panic and be natural. Your panicked state could be a confirmation to him.”
With that, he disconnected the call, unaware of the fact that Magnus was watching him on the CCTV, and through his home CCTV he also saw Natalia. Both were on call and disconnected the call at the same time and Magnus murmured, “I knew that.”
Magnus smiled, sitting in his cabin, and picked up his phone. Though he didn’t want that, he still did it and sent a text to Natalia.
To Natalia: Hey, Andrew invited us to the Christmas Party tonight. Please ask the nanny to stay longer for Xenia tonight.
To Magnus: It’s Christmas, Magnus. She could have plans.
To Natalia: Just do what I say, and you can take your dress from my closet. I bought it for you when we went shopping.
To Magnus: Thank you, Magnus.
