The Royalties

Chapter 2

Harry:

“Harry!” Kiara laughed as I tickled her, she was laying on my chest catching her breath after our active morning.

“Yes love?” I teased drawing circles on her lower back.

“I need to shower!” She exclaimed laughing.

“But that requires you getting up from my arms” I pouted, Kiara mimicked me laughing.

“And you are not coming with me” she said in a playful evil voice making me playfully gasp.

She got up from my arms covering her body with the beige small blanket we had on the side making me roll my eyes.

“Why the hell are you covering yourself?” I asked with a raised eyebrow “I was literally inside you like fifteen minutes ago”

Kiara blushed at my words making me chuckle at her shyness, despite being my wife for the past nineteen years.

“Shut up” she looked down in hopes that her light brown long hair would cover her now crimson cheeks, I laughed and sat on the edge of the bed putting on my boxers before vampire speeding toward her and lifting her over my shoulder.

“HARRY!” She laughed as I slapped her bum.

“What? It’s shower time”

Kiara and I somehow managed to walk out of the bedroom and head to the throne room to tend to our daily businesses, the lords and guards bowed down to us the second they saw us, making both Kiara and I smile and nod at them.

They stood straight smiling at us, our kids Andrea, Mia, Rolan and Rebecca smiled upon seeing us, and their smiles grew when they saw us wearing the necklaces, they gave us.

“Is there any news on the two?” I asked any sign of playfulness now gone, the lords shook their heads, we’ve been searching for them for months now, but it was like the ground was ripped and sucked them right through.

“We’ve searched in all the kingdoms your majesties, asked everyone too, but there’s been no sign of them” Lord Leonardo answered.

“That’s because someone could be hiding them” Andrea said looking at me, his green eyes met my own “they could be in the kingdom, but whoever is hiding them would just deny that he or she ever saw them”

“But who would be hiding them in the kingdom? We would at least have a lead if they had allies here” Lord Jonathon stated.

“True, but to find them would require them to be actually hiding” Mia said making me frown in confusion.

“What do you mean?” I asked, her blue eyes met mine and the confidence and strength I saw in her beautiful eyes made me smile proudly, despite the situation we were in.

“Reverse psychology, if you want to keep something hidden and not be caught for so long, just hide it in plain sight” Rebecca answered, both Kiara and I looked at one another then at our children, who seemed to have been doing their own researches.

“So where do you think we should start looking?” Kiara asked.

“Don’t” Rolan answered “they know we’re looking for them and that’s exactly what they want, just don’t and they’ll come to us”

I looked at my children smiling proudly at how they were thinking, they were growing to becoming smart and strong princes and princesses, the lords and guards nodded in understanding.

“What are your orders sire?” Lord Leonardo asked.

“We do as our princes and princesses said, we will stop searching for them and wait for them to come to us” I answered, and the lord nodded, I looked at the guards who bowed down as I dismissed them, leaving my children, wife and lords alone in the throne room.

The door to the throne room was closed and it was silent for a few seconds to be sure no one was listening.

“They are inside the palace” Andrea suddenly spoke making Kiara and I frown in confusion.

“What do you mean Andrea?” Kiara asked.

“I used a locator spell, the one you taught me how to do mum” Andrea looked at Kiara and she nodded frowning “the map lead us here, inside the palace”

“But they escaped the palace months ago, we searched the whole place” I said frowning.

“You searched every possible place they could be hiding in the palace” Rolan corrected.

“But they aren’t really hiding” Rebecca said.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Kiara asked confusion lacing her voice.

“They are here in the palace, under our noses too, watching our every move” Mia answered slowly.

“But that makes them more dangerous if they’re here and we wouldn’t be doing anything about it” Lord Leonardo said.

“We will be doing something about it, but we won’t be showing it” Andrea said, and I frowned in confusion “we need to make a plan, a diversion somehow”

“And I’m assuming you have something in mind?” I asked and all four kids nodded.

“Which is?” Kiara asked.

“We have to go to the human realm”
