20 Reunion Raedrick and Povol spent an extremely uncomfortable night crammed between two spurs of rock, with the nighttime winds howling all around. There was little rest to be had, at least not for Raedrick’s part. Between the bitter cold and Povol’s far too close proximity - the man truly did stink, though Raedrick was willing to admit he probably did as well - he only managed to doze on and off most of the night. At least it was a clear night, and the stars shown brightly. That made Raedrick’s interminable wakefulness not completely unbearable. It was with a fuzzy head, a growing headache, and a gnawing belly that he set off further up the mountain the next morning. “Wish there was some game,” Povol said at one point as they trudged onwards.
