Vrooom ~
"Kyaaa!" The young woman screamed as she awoke from her stupor, finding herself in the most dangerous situation of her life. She was in the midst of a ruthless car race on a famous track.
"Shut up!" the young man shouted. His sharp gaze was fixed on the winding road ahead. His thick hands gripped the steering wheel tightly.
"What did you do to my friend, huh?" A cold voice echoed. His eyes were filled with rage as he saw a black car swerving off the track.
"What are you doing?" The girl screamed in fear and looked at the man sitting next to her with wide eyes.
"We're going to die together," the man said with an evil smile.
"No, you madman!" The young woman shook her head in panic and clasped her hands together as if in prayer, hoping that it would save her life.
"Isn't dying together romantic?" Faren calculated the distance on the road for a while and then smiled wickedly.
"Faren, stop talking nonsense!" The girl was unprepared as the young man slammed on the gas. With his left hand, he forcefully shifted gears, almost breaking the gear stick, and the car shot forward.
Vroom, rrrrr...
Suddenly, Faren wildly swerved his car left and right and braked hard, crashing into the rival cars.
Screech!!!
"Kyaaa!" Nam Khing screamed at the top of her lungs in terror.
BANG!!!
Faren fearlessly drove, ramming his car into the rival car, risking his own side. He knew his car was stronger. However, the beautiful woman sitting next to him had fainted from fear.
His strong arm tightly held the young woman, protecting her as they crashed into the other car. Thanks to the seatbelt and Faren's arm, Nam Khing wasn't seriously injured.
Vrooom!!
The black car he hit veered off the track but quickly returned. At high speed, Faren floored the gas and won the race.
"Ha ~" Faren smiled contentedly as he saw his friend's car approaching the finish line. His own car was wrecked, but at least his plan had worked.
Faren's arm rested against the unconscious young woman's chest. He glanced at her chest and sighed.
"B+ or C, I guess."
"You're hiding," he said and swallowed. He kept his arm on the young woman's chest.
"Your face is pretty, but what a shame," he said, looking at the young woman's delicate lips.
"Nam ~ King ~" he said and chuckled lightly.
Soon, the emergency team and paramedics arrived. The cars were in bad shape, but the rival car had braked in time. Faren had a few bruises, but he didn't care.
Faren quickly unbuckled the young woman's seatbelt. "Treat this girl first!" he ordered.
"Faren, you look worse," said a paramedic.
"I'm fine," said Faren, despite his face being covered in blood. Everyone listened to him.
The paramedic cradled the unconscious young woman and placed her on a stretcher. Faren got out of his car and steadied himself. Blood was dripping from his head, but he didn't care.
"Wind will kill you," said Clint as he walked towards the prize point.
"If I hadn't kidnapped his wife, would he have accepted the race?" said Faren angrily.
"Do you know how much money I put in? I can't make a mistake," he said, clenching his fists.
@Finish Line
"How many times will they make the same mistake," said Clint, watching his friends.
Windsor embraced his girlfriend Iren and comforted her. He didn't care about the others.
"They will never be separated," said Timezone.
"They're making the same stupid mistake again," said Faren, dissatisfied.
"Would you be stupider if she was your wife?" said Timezone.
Faren thought Windsor was controlled by Iren. But there was nothing he could do.
"If we hadn't taken your wife hostage, would you have accepted the race?" Faren said, looking at Windsor.
"If you don't trust your friends, we're no longer friends," said Windsor with a serious face.
Everyone fell silent. Windsor was angry and spoke with strong conviction.
"You!" Faren lunged at Windsor. Time and Clint held him back. Windsor and Iren got into the car and drove off.
"Damn it!" Faren shouted, watching them leave.
"Are you breaking your heart and leaving everything?" he shouted.
"If we hadn't taken her hostage, would you have accepted the race?" he said angrily.
"Calm down," said Timezone, trying to soothe him.
"Why should I calm down?" said Faren angrily.
"Windsor has his reasons," said Timezone.
"Real friends stay together," said Clint.
"If he's happy, let him go," he said.
"We'll be here when he's sad," he said.
Faren pushed his friends' hands away. "I'm not like you," he said angrily.
He lit a cigarette and took a deep drag. It calmed him down a bit. Clint looked at him and asked, "What about Iren's friend?"
"I'll deal with her," said Faren, clenching his fists.
"The one who nearly took her down?" said Timezone.
"Time, watch your words," said Faren.
"First, treat your wounds," said Clint.
"Alright!" said Faren angrily.

"Where is the woman who was sitting next to me in the car?" Faren demanded harshly.
