Chapter 3 How Much to Sleep with Me?

1053 Words
The group’s seemingly harmless, sweet-faced guy, who ranks second after Windsor, spoke to me more amicably than the other guy giving me strange looks. “Why am I so unlucky?” I murmured to myself. I never thought I would see these two friends of Windsor here and that they would be my first customers. “You made the choice, Time,” Clint said, immediately opening his arms to welcome Maple. “Make it a little stronger, sweetheart,” Maple said as she sat next to Clint, who wrapped his arm around her waist and acted like her boyfriend. Maple did not act shy, even though they had only recently met. She tried to help Clint in every way, handing him snacks from the table. Clint, on the other hand, kept caressing her body. I preferred to look elsewhere, but my eyes met Time’s. “Do I need to get you a drink too?” I asked, seeing Time nodding his head to the music’s rhythm and realizing that my only duty was to serve him a drink. “No need,” Time laughed. “Oh, I’m relieved,” I said, returning his smile with a more relaxed one. “Just keep me company,” Time said, raising his glass and finishing his drink in one gulp, then giving me a sweet smile. “Do you think Windsor and Irene will make up tonight?” he started talking, thinking nothing of it. “My friend is always in the same cycle,” I said, knowing Irene’s ways well. “You know it too,” I said honestly to Time. “Windsor is no different; he loves Irene a lot, and we’re used to it,” Time said, and we both laughed at the same time. Not only Windsor’s friends but I had also become accustomed to this situation. But before I could say more, I heard noises from the couch nearby. When I turned, I saw Clint and Maple kissing passionately. Both were eagerly and intensely lip-locked, despite sitting at the same table as Time and me. I quickly turned my head away. As someone working in a nightclub, I knew what to expect, but I hadn’t thought I had to act so intimately with customers. However, when I had no other options, I started this job as a side gig and honestly didn’t feel comfortable. But poverty was pushing us, and there was no other way. “Just drinking with me is enough,” Time said. “I’m not a pervert like Clint,” said Time next to me, trying to comfort me as he saw Clint and Maple making out crazily. “Cheers,” Time said, pouring a drink into an empty glass and handing it to me. “Yes, cheers!” I responded with a smile. But out of the corner of my eye, I saw the other two still wrapped up in each other, not even an hour after they met. After sitting for a while, I must admit, my eyes were on one of their friends, but I didn’t dare to ask. It wasn’t out of interest in him but because of the troubles I encountered every time I saw his face. The last time we went on a dangerous race track together, I almost had a heart attack. -1 hour later- When the first bottle was finished, Clint immediately called a waiter and ordered more drinks. But as soon as the waiter placed the drinks on the table, another man threw a black credit card with golden edges into the middle of the table. “I’ll pay the bill!” said the latest arrival, sitting carelessly next to me. “Oh, what about your girl, Far?” Clint immediately asked as soon as Faren sat down. “It was too much, I couldn’t continue,” he said, pouring pure alcohol into his glass and starting to drink. “I believe it; someone like you wouldn’t come without a girl fainting,” Clint said, smoking his cigarette and greeting his friend rudely. “Yes, but I’m still hungry,” Faren said, even though I had turned my back and hidden my face. “Can you really not see me?” Faren whispered, wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me onto his lap. Hush! “Hey, what are you doing_” I started to shout but stopped when I saw Maple glaring at me angrily. She gritted her teeth and shook her head, signaling me not to do anything stupid. “Did you ever think about escaping from someone like Faren?” Faren whispered in my ear. “Let go of me (damn it),” I tried to speak normally, but I couldn’t control my nerves. I looked at Faren fearlessly. “Inside or outside?” he asked, with a devilish smile on his face. His neck was covered with lipstick marks and kisses. “Disgusting, you…” I cursed, trying to push him away, but I couldn’t fight against Faren, who was crazy strong. “I’m only here to serve drinks to Time, not you,” I said, trying to get up and escape. Hush! He… Faren pulled me back into his lap, holding me tightly. “It’s no problem to continue my friend’s work,” Faren said carelessly. As I sat on his lap, I felt something hard under my skirt. “But I’m not serving you!” I tried to resist. “New girl, do you want to get fired?” Maple shouted, seeing me resisting Faren. “Faren is an important VIP customer here,” Maple said, greeting Faren. Then she signaled with her eyes towards our boss, who was watching us. Fear of losing my job forced me to remain silent. If I got fired from this job, it would be impossible to find another one by the end of the month. “Why are you bothering Nam Khing?” Time asked, trying to help me. “I’m not bothering her; I’m supporting her work,” Faren said, squeezing my arm. “As I said, I’m here to serve Time,” I said, glaring at Faren. “If you want someone to serve you, it shouldn’t be hard to call someone else,” I said with a trembling voice, angry but helpless.
