Walking with a skip in my steps, I patted my full stomach. Food always makes me happy.
Remembering that Xander told me to meet him in his office, a humongous ice-cold water dumped itself onto me mercilessly.
Sighing, all my happiness from moments ago gone, just like that.
You know what they say, it's funny how one word, one lie, one truth, one second, one minute, can change your life forever.
Standing outside of the double door, should I knock? Or should I just barge in?
Before I could reach to a conclusion, his husky voice came from the other end, "Stop wasting my time!"
"Jerk" I muttered, ignoring the flutter his voice cause me before pushing opening the heavy doors.
"Okay I'm here what do you want?" I stated bluntly, eager to get out of the room.
Without looking up from the stack of papers, he motioned for me to sit. I rolled my eyes but did it anyways.
Taking a deep breath, he looked up at me in the eye. "So, I got a few rules here." He started.
"What? I came here against my will, and now you want me to follow your rules?" I burst out, this guy doesn't make at sense.
"Number one, no going anywhere without telling me or my beta." He said monotonously, ignoring my rant. "Number two, only speak when you are spoken to." He paused, "Number three, make yourself invisible when I bring girls home."
His faced is blank, like a robot programmed to read out those rules.
"If you follow this simple, three rules, everything would be fine."
And just like that he continued to look at his stack of paper, switching one to the next.
I took a deep breath, "Okay sure."
I stood up, turn my back and walked out, not another word spoken to him.
I would not waste another tear on him.
At least not today.
Because it's useless, he already stated them and I'm too tired to fight. Let's just go with the flow for now.

After getting out of the bathroom, I laid down flat on my bed, not caring that my hair is not fully dry.
Thinking back to the three rules, the last rule hurt the most. So he's going to bring girls home huh.
That thought alone felt like someone just stab my heart and twist the knife again and again. "Why?" I questioned to no one in particular.
Am I not good enough? Just because I'm an Omega?
Love don't come easy Lonia.
I know Zara.
With that I let the grieve carry me to sleep, my body drained out from all those emotions.
Let's just go with the flow.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Walking down the steps, I'm surprised to see a girl about my age with blonde hair sitting on the couch, twiddling her fingers.
Wow, Xander is fast.
As if sensing my presence, she turned around and immediately stood up. "Oh hi! I'm Quincy! Err. I’m here to give you a tour." She said shifting from foot to foot nervously.
I breath out a sigh of relieve, "No it's okay Quincy I do not need a tour." I said politely, giving her a small smile.
Walking to the kitchen I see that it's packed with food. "Did you get these?" I questioned aloud, knowing that she heard me. "Yep, I see that the kitchen is empty so I can't resist the urge to fill it up." She muttered embarrassingly, blushing. "Thank you so much, I really do appreciate it." I said truly grateful.
"And maybe I would like to take that tour." I said after a moment, if I was to stay alive in this pack, I might as well make an ally.
Because who knows I might get to know something interesting about this pack.
"Quincy?" I asked worried, she stood in front of the kitchen frozen like a statue.
"What? Oh! I was just too shocked and excited that I get to give the future Luna a tour!" She bounced up and down eagerly.
"I will never be your Luna." I whispered. "Sorry Luna, what did you say?"
"Nothing!" I said quickly, "And please call me Cat."
"Whatever you like Lu-Cat." She grabbed my arm pulling me towards the front door.
"Quincy!" I squeaked out. "Yeah?" She stopped in her tracks, causing me to stumble a little. "Erm..." I said gesturing to my Cookie Monster pj.
"Oh gosh I'm so sorry, I will wait for you down here." She said apologetically. "It's okay."
Scanning the few choices of clothes that I have, I took out a high waisted skinny jean and a crop tee, leaving no skin shown. Looks good enough. I nodded to myself in the mirror.
"Okay I'm ready!" I holler out as I run down the steps, suddenly feeling eager for the tour.
"So, these are the training grounds, and that's the gym, and that's the body stimulation machine." Quincy said pointing to a large area like a football field, to a room packed with training equipment and lastly a very huge machine with tons of wires.
"Wow..." I gushed out, I didn't know that this packed was so...rich and high tech you can say.
So far, we've been to the packed house which was filled with many wolves, many of them giving me curious stares but I'm not surprise that Xander kept me a secret.
And then we been to the huge meeting room, where all the wolves gathered under the Alpha command.
Lastly the emergency room where all the children, elderly and omegas are required to go.
I also just learnt that in this pack, they allow both able-bodied women and men to fight.
How much I wish I can fight too... "Your weak, can't you see? You can do nothing but just sit there"
I unknowingly my grabbed my head, wishing his voice can just get out of my head.
"Cat are you alright?" Quincey asked, worry shadowed her eyes as she takes out two bottles of water from the fridge.
We just arrived back to the pack house to take a break before continuing.
"Yeah, I'm alright." I said, shaking my head giving her a weak smile.
Passing me a bottle, "So how do you know about me and Xander being mate...?" I asked curious, since other pack members don't know, how could she?
Her laughter filling up the whole kitchen, several old ladies who's cooking dinner stop their cooking and look over to us.
"Quincey..." I warned, my voice down an octave. "Okay okay I'm sorry." She put her hand up in a stop sign.
"But seriously you really don't know?" She looked at me unbelievingly. "Know what? That erm you like superwoman?" I said, sarcasm evident in my tone.
"Well I did admire superwoman when I was young but no that's not that in talking about." "Then...?" I question impatiently.
"Fine, I'll tell you, you blockhead woman, I'm Xander's sister, Quincey Zinoviev."
"Oh..." I felt so dumb yet again, that I didn't notice the similarities between them, same shade of green eyes, jawlines, nose...everything looks the same other than their hair.
"But..but you're all shy before the tour!" I pointed an accusing finger towards her. "Darling that's just all am act duh, I must make you feel comfortable around me, first right?" She smirked at me.
"Then I must say you're a very good actor." I nudge her shoulder playfully. "I know." She grinned proudly, nudging me back.
"Yeah so know you know...we're going to have a little chat, Catalonia Wist."
