My heart is racing the whole way to the Ballroom. Our guests were all welcome to stay for lunch as well, and many of them accepted the invitation. I suppose I should be happy, because getting away in a crowd like this might be easier, but I still don’t dare to overestimate myself.   I am the first one to arrive to the table, Eros and Elena aren’t there just yet. And there’s only father seated already, no one else from our family. The rest of the Ballroom is slowly filling up, the sound of conversation masking thousands of words that are currently being spoken.
