My heart is racing the whole way to the Ballroom. Our guests were all welcome to stay for lunch as well, and many of them accepted the invitation. I suppose I should be happy, because getting away in a crowd like this might be easier, but I still don’t dare to overestimate myself. I am the first one to arrive to the table, Eros and Elena aren’t there just yet. And there’s only father seated already, no one else from our family.
