Despite seeing the look on my face, the elf who is still holding me doesn’t make a remark, and simply drags me forward. We rise up the staircase, walking for a few long minutes, and passing many doors on the way. It looks like everything was carved into the tree, the stairs, the doors, even the rooms. It’s incredible and unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. As we finally reach what seems to be the top of the tree, the elves in front once again make it melt some way. I don’t know if it’s a spell or whatever they use, because I still can’t see what they do to open the door. But I quickly forget about it, as I step into another large room, lit up by natural light.
