The crowd erupts into panic, my aunt and uncle rushing to the front to wake Flora up. I keep holding my breath, unable to fathom what just happened. I watch the scene unfold in complete shock, hearing the distant shouts of the judge, as he tries to make everyone calm down.
But he doesn’t get my attention. I am solely focused on uncle Kaspar and aunt Berenike and their desperate attempts to wake their daughter up. However, I know it’s no use. If Flora said the only way to wake her up is to have Daniel touch her, then we know exactly what we need to do.
