Chloe’s best friend is a werewolf, and she invited her to a party in their world. Being a human, she hesitated at first. But Amelia told her it was okay with the alpha of Aberdeen and everyone in her pack knew her. She was curious about how werewolves celebrate events like that, so she accepted the invitation as a loving friend.
Amelia would always tease her about how stunning she was whenever they were in the same room. Other girls at her university were envious of Chloe because she was such a head-turner. So, the ball pack would be a big deal because Amelia will surely brag about her.
Simply put, she has a best friend who adores her. Chloe was genuinely anxious, but she knew she would be fine as long as Amelia was by her side. Amelia’s best friend was thrilled because it was going to be the biggest party in their pack. Furthermore, Amelia hoped to meet her fated mate at the party, and Chloe was ecstatic for her best friend.
At the event, Chloe worried Amelia because her friend was suddenly agitated. It was all due to the “mate” situation. Amelia feared that she wouldn’t see her date that evening. And the girls generally disliked her because of their insecurities. Amelia was the only friend she got, and despite their indifference, she valued the relationship they shared.
In an effort to make Amelia happy, she accepted her friend’s invitation to the event and enjoyed herself while mingling with the other werewolves. Little did she realize how drastically her life would change when she felt the heat in the eyes of Aberdeen’s Alpha.
Alpha Malachi
He is the male protagonist, Alpha Malachi of Aberdeen. He couldn’t help but follow Chloe when she stood up and averted her gaze from him. In order to ask Chloe out on dance, Alpha Malachi waited patiently outside the ladies’ room. The woman’s boldness in mocking him amused him, but he prevailed.
He was at a loss to explain why he felt such a powerful pull toward the human being. There is such a strong attraction that he is helpless to resist it. Malachi suspected something was up, and now he just needed to make sure. And it implies that he should spend more time with Chloe.

Chapter 4 of Alpha of Aberdeen
When Chloe was asked if she was available for a date by Amelia, she immediately felt anxious about meeting Alpha Malachi. After being overcome by emotion last night, the alpha has requested her return. Just hearing the alpha’s name caused Chloe to feel the heat and pull she’d never experienced before, and she couldn’t help but wonder why.
They seemed to share some sort of psychic bond. Although she politely declined, it was too late; Malachi had already shown up at her school. Chloe was taken aback by the alpha’s shocking nickname for her, “luna,” which he used just before he left.

When Alpha Malachi found out that someone at school was threatening Chloe, he became enraged in this chapter of Alpha of Aberdeen. There was an immediate order for Amelia to meet her at the pack so they could discuss what had happened. He knew that Chloe was his Luna and would punish anyone who tried to harm her or her family.
Chloe’s eyes welled up with tears at the sound of that phone call. She is very concerned for her family’s safety because of this threat. Her friend Amelia offered to assist her, and she accepted the offer. However, this meant that she had to interact with Alpha Malachi. The thought of returning home filled her with dread, so instead, she headed straight for Amelia.
Chapter 6 of Alpha of Aberdeen
The humor in this chapter of Alpha of Aberdeen, especially Chloe’s, made for a great read. She broke down in tears, and Malachi assured her he would track down her blackmailer. Chloe felt compelled to kiss Malachi, and as she did, she wrapped her legs around his waist. Amelia had called unexpectedly and was understandably taken aback by their predicament. After that, Chloe’s cheeks began to feel hot and flushed in shame.
Part 4: Recommendation of Alpha of Aberdeen
The contrast between Malachi and Chloe is a big part of what gives Alpha of Aberdeen its witty vibe. Considering it’s a werewolf love story, it was surprisingly light and sweet. Becoming Alpha’s Personal Caretaker by Cynthia Clinton is a book you should read if you enjoy reading tales similar to this one.
