Part 1: Storyline of The Unwanted Mate
Evelyn couldn’t leave her father, she went back to the spot where he’d fallen and discovered he must have been taken away. She stayed and lived in the woods where her father had died from hence on.
It had been her father’s dying wish that his daughter will not be alone in this world, that she would find her mate who would love her and protect her. In fact, he’d made her promise to find her mate and to stay safe.
But now, Evelyn was twenty and still lived in the woods, even though the accident happened over ten years ago, the memories were still hunting her dreams. She was an omega and hadn’t found her wolf.
The animals in the woods were kind to her, squirrels brightened her flowers and fruits. Even the wild ones didn’t notice her much. The forest provided food and trees for shelter, but she knew it was time should find her mate. How was she to find him when she lived in isolation, had lived in isolation for ten years?
Winter was coming and she needed to go to the nearest small village to buy blankets and sweaters. She went to investigate and found an abandoned cabin. The cabin offered her shelter until she woke up to the sound of voices in the morning.
The voices came from outside the cabin. They were males, she could see them through the window. They were werewolves, and from their looks, she could see they were the high-ranking ones.
The men could smell her scent and knew that omega was hiding somewhere. They broke down the entrance to the cabin and find her hiding within. They alerted their Alpha and he arrived in a few minutes. The moment Evelyn saw him, she knew he was her mate.
The alpha also knew, but instead of the excitement and joy Evelyn had dreamed of seeing in her mate the day they see each for the first time, there was only anger on the handsome alpha’s face. She could tell he didn’t like her.
