Normal to the supernatural. Weak to strong. This book, filled with action and adventure is a fun read for both boys and girls. The narrative is beautifully created, the author is very descriptive of the game world and the characters are well-rounded. These elements combined, make a terrific novel.
Damien starts as a weak player with a weak talent and this fact leaves him disillusioned. For five years he does nothing to improve his talent. Until one day, when he is thrown through a gate in a labyrinth of beasts and has to fight off monsters that threaten his life.
This is the turning point of the novel. Damien decides to become powerful and win the game he was thrown into. Will he become a force of nature eventually? Will he level up his skills and be a great player?

Part 1: The Main Story Of Void Evolution System
Damien Void is covered in blood while beasts keep sinking their teeth into his flesh. He had only one word in mind while he was being chewed: survival. And he survived.
Five days earlier, the seventeen-year-old goes to the hospital to visit his comatose mother.
When the awakening happened, six years prior, there were people who weren’t able to adapt to the changing environment and fell into a coma. Scientists were still having trouble finding a way to wake them up.
Elena Pierce, Damien’s friend, is about to go on another hunt, in a newly opened gate, Brank Gate and wants to take him with her. He is reluctant at first but finally accepts it. Soon after, he will find himself thrown into a labyrinth full of beasts.
All beaten up and on the verge of death, Damien Void decides to level up his skill and become powerful. His ability allows him to teleport for only ten meters around himself and his physical stats are very weak. He vows to become better and live in a world where his mother could wake up feeling safe.

Void Evolution System Chapter 20
Elena
In an unknown dungeon, Elena was standing before a giant snake beast. She charged and stepped straight into the snake’s breath, aiming for his head. The girl raised her sword and swung, cutting various gashes in its flesh.
Soon after, Elena plunged her sword directly into its eyes, causing the snake to give its last breath. It had been one and a half years since Damien disappeared and she only gained thirty levels. She had a feeling that her friend was alive and wanted to do everything in her power to find him.
The first time she sensed that Damien was alive was five days after he disappeared and since then, she entered all gates she could possibly find to level up. Between battling and visiting her friend’s comatose mother, Elena started to become relatively unreachable for the Guild.
The boys had also started to pressure her to partner up with Jin for publicity stunts and dungeon raids, but she always turned them down. Eventually, she left the Guild. In the world’s eyes, Elena stopped hunting due to the grief of her friend’s death.
Jin is aware that Elena keeps visiting Damien’s mother and believes that the girl sells her body to afford to keep his mother in the hospital. This gives him the thought of getting a little forceful with her.
After Elena leaves the hospital, a man, whose features were obscured behind a veil of shadows, walked up to Damien’s mom and told her that their son was fine, he could feel his presence and he will soon return and wake up his mother.
Void Evolution System Chapter 28
Damien was dressed in a casual black outfit and toured the city with Zara, who was now extremely cute. Most beasts could freely change size within a certain range after they acquire their first class.
Damien was very handsome which made many women go mad for him. While walking around the city, he was very surprised by what he saw. There were many medium-tall buildings, occasional restaurants, and taverns, while clothes, weapons, and potions were everywhere on display.
The city used a system of copper, silver, and gold as currency. Damien made himself a mental promise to go enjoy a hot meal. He liked to view himself as a protagonist of some story and wanted to be a hero. The next day he would join the adventurer’s guild.
As Damien and Zara were enjoying a meal at a restaurant, a person watched them and saw through their concealed auras. He liked the beauty of Zara and Damien and thought of having fun company on his journey.
Part 3: Video-Game Fantasy Book Review: Void Evolution System
As an avid reader, I have read my fair share of video game fantasy books and I have to tell you that Void Evolution System is one of the best books I’ve read so far. The story is very complex, yet very simple to understand and follow.
I like how the characters interconnect, and how they develop their relationships throughout the narrative. The dynamics between Elena and Damien are great in the beginning, and the way they still think about each other after they are apart is heart-wrenching.
I suggest you add this book to your list of future readings, it’s a wonderful read. There are several chapters you can read for free and afterward, you can unlock them using coins.
