Transmigrated As My Former Uncle's Sweetheart Novel

Lu Liangwei was lying in bed touching the strangulation marks on her neck. The maid consoled her, happy that the woman’s attempt to take her life was unsuccessful. Disbelief flashed through Lu Liangwei as she realized that she had transmigrated into the world of the novel she was reading.

The book told the story of a weak girl, Lu Yunshuang, who emerged victorious in a battle between sisters, married the coveted male lead Long Chi, assisted him while he ascended to the throne and became his queen.

Lu Liangwei shared the same name with the character she replaced in the novel. She was Lu Yunshuang’s sister and she was also infatuated with Long Chi, even settling to being his concubine if he ever asked her. Realizing that the man had no intentions to make her his lover, Lu Liangwei decided to take her own life.

While Lu Liangwei was pondering over the recent events in the book and trying to cope with the fact that she had transmigrated into the story she was reading, a cynical voice could be heard on her door. The Prince had come to let her know that their father was negotiating with the Crown Prince to take her as his concubine.

The girl jumped out of bed and went to her father, begging him to reconsider his actions. She didn’t want to be Long Chi’s concubine anymore. She wanted to create a different path for her character. Will she manage to give a happy end to her story?

Transmigrated As My Former Uncle’s Sweetheart Chapter 37

Filled With Jealousy

Having finished her poem, Lu Linangwei put down her brush and turned to look at the Dowager Duchess. She hoped her grandmother wouldn’t punish her, as she felt her poem wasn’t as beautiful and meaningful as she wanted it to be.

Dowager Duchess approached the girl, took the paper and read her poem out loud. She was actually impressed with her writing and appraised Lu Liangwei. Lu Yunshuang clutched her handkerchief tightly, jealousy flashing across her eyes. Her sister barely read while growing up and now she was writing beautiful poems?

Lu Liangwei having written the poem and lies about memorizing it from a book she once read. Now, Lu Yunshuang was happy. She knew that her poem had to be better than a copy-paste poem that her sister wrote.

Turning around, Lu Yunshuang saw Long Chi staring at her sister. Jealousy started consuming her as she gave Lu Liangwei a fierce glare.

Long Chi Was Livid With Rage

The Dowager Duchess went for her afternoon nap right after meal, so everyone excused themselves as well. Lu Liangwei decided to take a walk in the garden and was surprised to see Long Chi in the pavilion. He simply stood there, thoughtful, holding his hands behind his back.

She decided to take another route, but Long Chi had already spotted her and asked her why she was dodging him. He got closer to her and bluntly told her that he would never marry her. No matter how hard she tried to get his attention, she will never become his spouse.

Taken aback by his words, Lu Liangwei froze for a second, but soon recovered. If, in the past, her character would have begged him to reconsider his decision, the new Lu Liangwei simply told him that there are people with a certain disorder, who face mental confusion, suffer from anxiety and delusions and even talk to themselves.

The girl didn’t even wait for the man’s response and turned to leave. Long Chi had no idea what the girl meant, he stood behind, staring at her. He couldn’t believe her boldness and her courage to imply that he may suffer from a despicable disorder.
