Colette of traded to the lycan king was a servant. Her role in recent times was to be the personal servant to Leslie -the alpha’s daughter. She wasn’t an Omega, but what had lowered her status in the pack was the fact that her wolf was weak. In the two years she’d come of age, she’d only shifted twice.

Problem was that King Malikh was a reputed nuisance. He was named the Alpha of Death and the rumors said he was ugly, having acquired terribly deep scars which had disfigured him. While pictures of Leslie were sent to Malikh, his pictures were not sent to Leslie. The peace was supposed to be soly dependent on him not on the weakling Black Mountain Pack.
Malikh had arrived at the Black Mountain Pack and was in the wedding hall, waiting for his bride. When she wasted time, Colette was sent to find her. As she approached the room where she should be found, the scent of her mate flooded her nostrils. Grady and Colette had been friends since she was little. Being weak and downtrodden had been easier because of his comforting approaches toward her. She’d hoped and dreamed that when the moon goddess decides to favour her, that it would with Grady as her mate.
Her prayers had just been answered, but why would it be in Colette’s hideaway closet? She entered the room and yes, it was he and he was here, in this room that reeked of sex and something else -vomit?
